The All New Atkins Advantage is very remarkable in the ways one can adapt to the diet.The defining aspect of The All New Atkins Advantage is that each person can use it to his or her taste and needs.                                                                                                                                                                                The diet comprises of four phases.If you want to wait a little longer in trying to lose  weight, then i would suggest you work through the phases.Assuming you want to lose weight rapidly, you should consider taking up the more restrictive induction stage.Like i said earlier , the the diet consists of four phases, namely:                                                                                                                                                             The Restrictive Induction Stage In this stage you are required not to eat much of carbs. You only eat carbs at minimal volume.During this phase, around 20g of net carbs a day  would make you experience a fairly rapid weight loss.During this phase, your body changes from burning carbohydrate to burning fat.It is required that you do this phase for at least two weeks.But the maximum time allowed is six months.You should also note that this depends on how much of weight you would like to lose.                                                                                                                                                                                            The Ongoing Weight Loss Phase During this phase, you slowly add a greater variety of carbs food by 5g a week and will know the much carbohydrate you can eat while  still losing weight.You are to stay in this Ongoing Weight Loss Phase until you have say five to ten pounds left to lose before getting to your ideal weight.Note that during this phase you will add a good variety of carbohydrate food by 5g a week.By adding 5g of carbs one would be able to know how much of carbohydrate one can eat while losing weight.                                                                                                                                                                             Pre Maintenance Phase As you continue to loss pounds or inches ,it is advisable that you increase the  the volume of carbs intake by 10g.In doing this, you weight loss would tend to slow down a bit but it is good  since what you desire is a permanent weight control.Certainly, you would get to your weight loss goal.If you are able to maintain it for at least one month,then you are ready to move to the next level which is:                                                                                                                                                                         Life Maintenance:This is the period whereby you keep track of how your weight should be.This is not a kind of phase Where you are asked to eat this amount of carbs or not.But a permanent way of eating.It is advisable that once you have attain your weight loss goal,you should be careful not to gain more than 51b.I f you have not altered your diet and find out that you have gain more weight,then the next best thing to do is to consider some more exercise, or slightly reducing your carbohydrate intake.
